I am a qualified Art and Design educator with a Professional Master of Education from University College Cork and Crawford College of Art & Design. I also obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Digital Animation Production from Limerick Institute of Technology in 2019. My background in design, animation, and illustration has given me a strong understanding of visual storytelling, which I often integrate into my teaching practice in order to create engaging, student-centred lessons.

With experience teaching at both post-primary and primary levels, I am committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I have a particular interest in AEN support and differentiated teaching, ensuring that all students are encouraged to explore their creativity and reach their full potential.

My teaching is informed by both traditional and digital art practices, and I aim to inspire my students through the experimentation and exploration of design, illustration, animation, and mixed media art. Alongside my teaching career, I continue to develop my own creative practice, with a focus on mixed-media painting and illustration.
